Currently, "green textile" has become a prominent theme in the development of the textile industry. Textile equipment that can enhance resource utilization efficiency, reduce consumption, lower costs, and effectively prevent pollution has a broad future. Innovative, efficient, energy-saving, flexible, environmentally friendly, digitalized, and intelligent textile machinery have become the development trends of future textile equipment.

The world's textile equipment industry as a whole is showing a trend of intelligence.

From a global perspective, the processing equipment for fiber materials is developing towards larger capacity and higher precision; the processing equipment for fiber products is moving towards higher speed, higher quality, automation and continuous production; the dyeing and finishing equipment is evolving towards water-saving, energy-saving and environmentally friendly features; the overall trend of textile equipment is towards optical, electronic-mechanical integration and intelligence.

In terms of yarn formation, developed countries widely adopt systems with convenient switching, large-capacity winding systems, precise thick-thin spinning systems, high-speed and versatile rotor spinning equipment and jet vortex spinning equipment, as well as efficient automatic winding systems;

In terms of weaving, research is conducted on high-speed and high-efficiency warping technologies and sizing processes, and development is carried out on highly automated shuttleless looms.

In the field of knitting, the development direction is towards high needle numbers, multi-functionality, high speed, low maintenance, and fully formed products.

In terms of dyeing and finishing processing, efficient, low-consumption and environmentally friendly dyeing and finishing equipment have become the direction of development.

In the field of nonwovens, the nano-bicomponent fiber meltblown nonwoven equipment provides the necessary conditions for the development of new bicomponent fibers and the expansion of the application scope of nonwoven fabrics. The Spunjet technology and equipment for spinning and netting nonwoven fabrics have produced a new generation of nonwoven fabrics, which have outstanding characteristics in terms of loft, softness, drape, and tensile strength.

One third of the large-scale textile enterprises in our country have already achieved international advanced levels in their equipment.

Our country has made new breakthroughs in key equipment for the textile industry. The design and manufacturing level of textile machinery has been continuously improving. The domestic market share of domestic textile machinery has reached over 70%. One-third of the large-scale textile enterprises have equipped with equipment at the international advanced level. The integration of mechanical and electrical systems of textile equipment has been developing towards intelligence, modularization, networking and systematization.

The key integrated equipment for spinning synthetic fiber filaments, the large-capacity polyester short fiber complete set of equipment, the new type of combing and carding combined machine, the automatic twisting machine and other cotton spinning production lines, the integrated mechanical and electrical jet and twill looms have achieved mass production, and some products have reached the international advanced level.

Non-woven fabric equipment such as spunbond, meltblown, and spunlace, as well as knitting equipment like computer jacquard circular looms, computer automatic flat knitting machines, and high-speed Trico warp knitting machines, and the key technologies of digital warp knitting equipment, the complete set of equipment technology for tufted carpet looms, and the key technologies of digital warp knitting equipment have all been launched on the market.

We have developed printing and dyeing equipment with potential for energy conservation, water saving and emission reduction. Domestic pretreatment equipment and continuous dyeing equipment have been able to replace imported ones.

Among domestic textile equipment, traditional equipment for processing cotton, wool, linen, silk and other fibers accounts for a large proportion. The processing equipment for industrial textiles needs to be vigorously developed. New types of high-end textile equipment featuring differentiation, refinement, high speed, energy saving and consumption reduction, and functionality are still mainly imported. For instance, over 90% of high-end spinning combing and cleaning combined machines, automatic twisting machines, large-scale fiber processing equipment, shuttleless weaving machines, non-woven equipment, etc. rely on imports. The application of integrated, modular, automated and informationized design and manufacturing of textile machinery is still not widespread.

The domestic equipment share will increase to 70% in the future.

In the next 5 to 15 years, China's textile equipment industry needs to enhance its independent innovation capabilities and create well-known brands in the textile machinery sector. The combination of basic theoretical research and industrialization will be utilized to enhance the independent innovation capabilities of textile equipment products. The market share of domestic equipment will increase from 60% to 70%, and the export volume will account for more than 30% of the total output value. The product technical level will be continuously improved, the gap with international advanced technologies will be narrowed, the dependence on imported equipment will further decrease, and textile equipment products developed through independent innovation will account for more than 50%. While improving the technical evaluation of textile machinery products and the quantity of product exports, efforts will be made to establish 100 well-known product brands.

Accelerate the development of various high-end textile equipment. Strengthen research on technologies in various links of the textile industry chain, such as high-tech fibers, new industrial textiles, ecological dyeing and finishing processes, as well as the upgrading of traditional textile processing techniques. Accelerate the development of technologies and equipment for the production of high-tech fibers, processing of industrial textiles, and green and environmentally friendly dyeing and finishing technologies, promoting the upgrading and replacement of traditional textile machinery towards higher performance and higher quality.

Apply new technologies and optimize product structure. Promote new technologies, new processes and new materials, increase the research and development efforts in industrial textiles equipment and energy-saving products, accelerate the wide application of energy-saving and emission-reduction technologies in textile machinery manufacturing, reduce the main pollutant emissions during the manufacturing process by 10%, and increase the material utilization rate from 80% to 85%. The structure of textile machinery products has been optimized, and the market share of industrial textiles has been increasing year by year.

Improve the manufacturing equipment, process and informatization level of textile machinery. The numerical control rate of textile machinery industrial equipment reaches over 10%, among which the key enterprises reach 15% to 20%. CAD, CAM, CApp, PDM technologies are widely applied in textile machinery enterprises. Key backbone enterprises establish a network management system for CNC machine tools, and most enterprises achieve ERP network informatization. The machining process index of key parts and new special parts of major textile machinery products reaches 1 to 1.25.
